Tsunoda aims to become a "more complete driver" in 2025

Ahead of his fifth season at the pinnacle of motorsport, Yuki Tsunoda insists that he is eager to become a "more complete driver" after his strong showing during the 2024 F1 season.
The Italian outfit has confirmed that it will be referred to as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (still VCARB for short) after the 2024 F1 season when it was called RB.
The 2025 season sees a new look for VCARB as the team unveiled their all-new livery in London. The Faenza-based squad will sport an all-white outfit on track this season as a nod to the overall brand of Red Bull.
The team will welcome former F2 driver Isack Hadjar who will join Yuki Tsunoda as team-mate in 2025. The French driver will become the 19th driver to be promoted to F1 from the Red Bull Junior Program, which now sees four alumni across the two Red Bull Teams.
Speaking on joining the team, Isack said: “It’s been a life-long goal of mine to become an F1 driver, so it’s surreal to be here, living out my dream. I’m not expecting it to be easy, there’s a lot to learn, but I’m so happy to be learning from Yuki who is a seasoned pro in the sport, I can learn from him everything that a rookie needs to know!”
Yuki Tsunoda enters his fifth season with VCARB having showcased notable growth in performance and consistency within the team last year. The Japanese driver demonstrated his potential, achieving several personal bests in 2024.
“I am hoping that my fifth season in F1 will be an extension of how the past years have gone, always making progress. I plan to nail it down even more, to be a more complete driver.
"By the end of last year, I had a stronger mindset and had more control than at the beginning of the season. After that, I want to be even more focused and work on improving the small margins.
"That can make the difference and allow us to continue fighting in the top 10, in what I expect to be an even tighter contest this year. I’ll take it step by step, but I’m feeling confident," concluded Tsunoda.
