Renault adding more hp's

The RS23 engine is rumoured to have 20hp more for the Austrian weekend and if that’s the case, we will soon see if Renault can be a serious challenger for the constructors championship before we even reach the halfway mark of the 2003 season.If Renault can match Ferrari, McLaren or even BMW Williams in terms of speed in the Styrian Mountains, then it should allow the French outfit to fight for big points throughout the rest of the season. The other teams will of course use further evolutions but so will Renault, as this is just the first of several upgrades due this season.It is still to be seen if Renault will actually use their new engine during Sunday’s race, or only for the Friday qualifying session.
