Doornbos suffers food poisoning
Robert Doornbos, the test driver of the Red Bull Racing Team, had to call it quits during yesterday's test day at Monza. The Dutchman suffered from food poisoning. Doornbos was replaced by Tonio Liuzzi in the afternoon.
Robert Doornbos “These things can happen. I think I just ate something wrong yesterday, and I became ill straight away. I didn’t even closed my eyes tonight... However, I still went to the circuit this morning as I was expected to test our new front- and rearwing during soem speedtraps. After I completed this programme before lunch, the team advised me to take it easy in the afternoon in order to get fully fit for tomorrow."
