England rugby players visit McLaren Technology center

Three chosen members of the England Rugby Sevens Team were given the opportunity to take a fresh approach to preparation recently for the Emirates Airline London Sevens in the form of a visit to the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking for the day.

With both the England Rugby Sevens and McLaren sponsored by Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, the England boys had the opportunity to see what goes on behind the scene of a leading F1 team.

Simon Amor, team Captain, along with fellow players Ben Russell and Will Matthews took the opportunity to meet some of the key people involved with the team’s organisation, as well as being guided around the design office and manufacturing areas for the Formula 1 team, meeting some of the pit crew involved with the race team, visiting the clothing store, and they had the chance to admire McLaren's extensive trophy collection, perhaps to give them inspiration in their own quest for a trophy in the Rugby Sevens.
