Heidfeld approaching personal record
Nick Heidfeld is able to enter the Grand Prix of the USA full of confidence. After all, the driver of the BMW Sauber F1 Team has managed to collect points in the last four races in succession. In Indianapolis, Heidfeld has the chance of setting a new personal record.
Only once in his Formula One career has Nick so far been able to enter the top eight in four races after another. In 2002, he achieved this between the Grands Prix of Europe and Germany. A ninth place in Hungary ended the successful spell at the time.
Nick is now determined to continue with his positive series in Indianapolis and to collect world championship points for the fifth time in succession. After Fernando Alonso, Fisichella and Michael Schumacher, Nick would be only the fourth driver this season to achieve this feat.
