We'll be doing our level best - JV
After a run of three point-less grands prix, Jacques heads to the German Grand Prix hoping to return to the scoresheets and add to the seven points he has already scored this season. With third place finishes in 1996, 1998 and 2001, Jacques memories of Hockenheim are of podium results and champagne showers and it is therefore a track that he enjoys racing at.
Jacques Villeneuve "I have fond memories mainly of the old track. There are a few good braking zones as well as passing opportunities, which make the races interesting."
However, it's not just the layout that the drivers have to cope with at Hockenheim, there's also the heat.
"It is likely to be very hot in Hockenheim," JV added. "Recently, our strength has not been in hot races or tracks requiring a lot of downforce. We will be doing our level best."
