JV's F1 future uncertain
It's not clear if Jacques Villeneuve will race again for the BMW Sauber F1 Team this season. Mario Theissen, BMW"s Team boss, didn't confirm that the Canadian will be back in his car before the end of the season. Villeneuve is injured after a crash at Hockenheim and this weekend Robert Kubica, BMW's test driver, will take over from JV.
When journalists at Hungary asked Mario Theissen if JV would be back in his race seat before the end of the season, Theissen answered: "I don't know. We have a decision for this race and we will evaluate the situation after this weekend.,There are no guarantees in life. The intention is to look at the situation after the race, as I said. We don't have a decision on the outstanding races of this season and not on next year either. We are just starting to think about next year and this is an opportunity for us to see how Robert copes with a race situation."
