Welcoming Petrol Ofisi to the team, Honda Racing F1 Team Chief Executive Nick Fry commented: “Our partnership with Petrol Ofisi for the Turkish Grand Prix is very exciting for both parties, especially since it comes hot on the heels of our fantastic win in Hungary three weeks ago. We are delighted that Petrol Ofisi, title sponsor of the race this weekend, will be able to share in this thrilling time for the team as we return to the racetrack fresh from Formula One’s three-week break and ready to tackle the remaining five races with renewed vigour. We look forward to a very enjoyable race weekend in Istanbul with Petrol Ofisi.”
Commenting on behalf of Petrol Ofisi, Jan Nahum, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are very excited about our partnership with the Honda Racing F1 Team for the Turkish Grand Prix. The objective of our F1 involvement is to reach a wide international audience and our relationship with the Honda Racing F1 Team and Honda Motor Company underlines our global ambitions to expand into other international markets. In this context, we hope to develop our partnership with the Honda Racing F1 Team and Honda further. Our partnership in Turkey provides us with a flexible marketing tool in support of our title sponsorship of the race and in addition to excellent brand visibility affords us the added dimension of being able to really tap into our passion for F1 through access to such a leading team, its drivers and senior personnel. We are particularly pleased to be joining forces with Honda at such an exciting time in the wake of the team’s first win in Hungary.”
