F1 Demo Zandvoort BIG success

Robert Doornbos was definitely not the only one at Circuit Park Zandvoort who enjoyed his spectacular Red Bull Racing F1 demo at Circuit Park Zandvoort (Netherlands) this weekend. Despite heavy rainfall in the beginning of the day, more than 78.000 spectators witnessed Robert’s race challenge against a DTM car and a F3 car. It proved to be the ideal warming-up for a mindblowing DTM race that followed right after Robert’s F1 demo!

Both on Saturday and Sunday, Robert spend most of his time together with his fans. Next to his breathtaking F1 demo, Robert also made three podium appearances at the Radio Veronica Zomertruck and ofcourse attended the Radio veronica / Robert Doornbos beach party at Beach Club Vroeger in Bloemendaal. Tired but 100% satisfied, Robert left Zandvoort late in the evening to start preparing himself for next weekend’s Italian GP at Monza.

Robert Doornbos “It was just awesome to see the public go crazy as Sebastian Vettel, Mattias Ekström and me raced eachother for a couple of laps, before I put down all the rubber I could with some donuts for the grandstands. I would love to see the faces of the Michelin engineers once my rear tyres are returned to them, haha! I want to thank everyone who made this possible, but even more important, the public for showing up despite the bad weather on Sunday morning. I really enjoyed myself big time and I hope you all did the same!”
