Eventful first heat at Monza
Under a sunny sky, the qualifying session for the Italian Grand Prix got underway. After only 5 minutes, there was a red fleg situation as Sakon Yamamoto suffered a tyre burst. With only 26 seconds to go, Christian Klien spun off. After the first session, Sakon Yamamoto, Takuma Sato, Christijan Albers, Tiagao Monteiro, Mark Webber and Tonio Liuzzi are eliminated.
