Two new sponsors for Spyker MF1
Spyker MF1 Racing will introduce two new sponsors to Formula 1 when the newly acquired and re-named team makes it debut at the Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai International Circuit on October 1. Zecco.com and Eccky.com logos will have prominent positioning on the two Spyker-MF1 Toyota cars which will be driven by the team's drivers Christijan Albers and Tiago Monteiro.
Zecco.com is a new online financial service, combining a range of portals, communities and traditional features all in one place. At Zecco.com investors can find financial news, data, tools, opinions and ideas. And soon, a new way of trading too. Emerged in July 2006 and due to go live at the beginning of October. Zecco's own positioning and ambitious plans reflect those of the new Spyker MF1 management team.
Eccky.com was launched in October 2005 in the Netherlands as an interactive 6-day Internet game where two parents can make, name and raise a virtual child. Today more virtual babies are being born than real babies! An international roll-out of the game is imminent with applications to integrate real world brands and products.
Colin Kolles, Team Principal Spyker MF1 Racing said: 'After the announcement that the team has been sold last week, we have been approached by several companies who would like to join the team. This proves we are moving in the right direction. Both of these new partners are new media companies which is a target area, alongside telecoms, entertainment and luxury brands as we go forward. We are delighted to confirm Zecco.com and Eccky.com and new revolutionary and hip partners. It is the next step in our new beginning and we hope to announce more good news in China.
