JV breaks the silence

After a long period of silence around the 1997 Formula One World Champion, Jacques Villeneuve has put a message on his official website for his fans. Of course the Canadian has been really busy with his music, future race plans and ... the baby that will be born in November.

"Thanks for all your messages of support and interest - and sorry for the long period of silence. As you can imagine I've been really busy since Hockenheim. The baby is due in November so there have been lots of adjustments to make. Johanna and I are preparing for this time and catching up with friends and family as much as possible before then. After that I think things are going to get even busier!

I'm also finishing off the album. It's basically done, the design too, so once it's mastered we'll be trying to get it into the shops and distributed. I'll make sure that any news on that appears here, but keep an eye on the MySpace site too.

In January we will be running the Villars charity ski-race again, so look out for that and hopefully I'll see some of you out there on the piste!
