Zanardi to test F1.06 at Valencia
Alessandro Zanardi, the former Formula One driver, will return in a Formula One car next month as he will be driving the BMW Sauber F1.06 at Valencia during the BMW World Finals from 24 to 26 November. Zanardi will enter the motor racing history books once more as he'll be the first person to test an F1 car with amputated legs.
"First of all I would like to say thank you to BMW for this opportunity. That's just amazing for me. Of course, I know that I won't get a contract with the Formula One team. However, having the chance to drive an F1 racer again is just incredible."
