Renaultf1 supports children in need

By on

The Renault F1 Team yesterday launched into action in support of the BBC’s Children in Need fundraising initiative, which aims to raise money for disadvantaged children across the UK. Every year, the country unites to have fun – with the serious purpose of improving the lives of thousands of children around the country. And in 2006, the world champion Renault F1 Team did its bit….

Throughout the day, 50 Enstone employees have been conducting a marathon X-Biking relay in the team’s gym facility, the Johnson Human Performance Centre. In line with its reputation as a team that goes about its work with a smile, the Renault boys and girls cycled in fancy dress. What’s more, they had special guests on hand too, with Heikki Kovalainen and RDD driver Lucas Di Grassi doing their bit for charity.

In total, the team raised over £2500 for the charitable initiative – and had a lot of fun along the way!
