FedEx and McLaren announce long term partnership

FedEx Express and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes announced yesterday their long term partnership agreement. This will see FedEx Express to be the team’s official logistics partner and also bring the World’s largest express transportation company and one of the most successful Formula 1 teams together.

FedEx Express and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes both hold the same values: leadership, teamwork, integrity and a commitment “to be the best”. The planned arrangement entitles FedEx to display its logo on the collar of the team’s drivers overalls making it visible to the World wide audience.

President of FedEx Express, Robert W Elliot said: “We are thrilled to mark our 10th anniversary in Formula 1 by being a part of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula team which has an outstanding record in Formula 1 and one of the most impressive drivers line-up grid with two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.

Ron Dennis said: “I am pleased the FedEx Express, a truly outstanding company, has joined the team, and am proud the company’s logo, one of the World’s most respected and well-known, will adorn our driver’s overalls as we seek to add to our Grand Prix and World Championship success this season.”
