The Honda Racing F1 Team completed a four-day test at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia today. After rain showers interrupted yesterday’s running, the test was extended by a day to allow the F1 teams in attendance to complete their planned programmes in advance of the Malaysian Grand Prix next weekend.

The morning was hot and humid with ambient temperatures of 33˚C and track temperatures reaching 55˚C by lunchtime. Jenson continued his programme carried over from Thursday as he ran through a further evaluation of the new aero developments completing 37 laps in the session.

Christian took over the car from Jenson for the afternoon session. Unfortunately his running was affected by another heavy downpour after one run on dry tyres. Christian therefore switched to the Bridgestone wet tyres completing two runs before the circuit dried out for the last thirty minutes of the day. Christian completed 24 laps in total.
