Kovalainen in the spotlight at Cannes

Monaco means glamour in Formula 1, and Heikki Kovalainen got his first taste of the bright lights yesterday evening on the famous croisette in Cannes. He was invited to ascend the famous steps at the film festival before enjoying the screening of Julian Schnabel’s film “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly”.

For his visit to the 60th edition of the world-famous festival, the young Finn was dressed in an evening suit from Billlionaire Italian Couture, and enjoyed mixing with the screen stars such as Sharon Stone and Elle Macpherson… something to make his friends jealous!

Heikki enjoyed a memorable evening before heading to Monaco, where he began serious preparations for the Grand Prix. Things will kick off tomorrow, for two 90-minute practice sessions.
