Kubica hopes to race at Indianapolis
Today, Robert Kubica, the young Polish BMW Sauber F1 Team driver, emerged from the Sacre-Coeur Hospital in Montreal to say that he had recovered from minor injuries sustained in the heavy crash during the Canadian GP.
Kubica came out of the hospital and spoke to the press. The youngster said: "As you see I'm quite in good shape and I'm hoping to be going to Indianapolis if the doctors will say OK for my driving."
"I feel very good. I was very lucky, big accident, but fortunately, nothing hurt."
It appears that the BMW Sauber F1 Team will wait until Thursday, one day before the US Grand Prix weekend starts, to make a decision on who will race at Indianapolis. If Kubica doesn't get an 'all clear' from the doctors, Sebastian Vettel or Timo Glock will have to take over.
