This weekend, the annual Le Mans event will kick-off. Jacques Villeneuve, the former Formula One World Champion, will participate the Le Mans 24 Hours in the new diesel Peugeot 908 HDi FAP. The Canadian is striving to become only the second man to achieve motor racing's Triple Crown this weekend...

Already a winner of the Indy 500 and F1 World Championship, Jacques Villeneuve will be making his debut in the Le Mans 24 hour race this weekend. His aim is to emulate the unique feat of Graham Hill: Motorsport's triple crown, awarded to the winner of the F1 World Championship, the Indy 500 and the Le Mans 24 Hours.

The Englishman, father of JV's one-time F1 team-mate Damon Hill, is the only driver in history to have achieved this ‘treble’ so far - winning the F1 title in 1962 and 1968, the Indy 500 in 1968 and the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1972 in a Matra MS 670.

Villeneuve, driving the new diesel Peugeot 908 HDi FAP will attempt to emulate Graham’s feat and become part of the Le Mans legend.
