We keep on working flat-out - Theissen
Following the Hungarian GP, Formula One enjoys a short summer break. However, even during this period of time, the BMW Sauber F1 Team keeps on working on enhancements. Formula One's short summer break lasts three weeks. Following the Hungarian GP - where the BMW Sauber F1 Team secured the best race result in its short history - the drivers have time for a 'breather', for during the short break even testing is forbidden.
It is not until August 24th, in the first free practice session for the Turkish Grand Prix, that Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica will make their next appearance on a racetrack.
However, despite the summer break, the BMW Sauber F1 Team continues working, enhancing the F1.07. "Of course, we will keep on working flat-out in Hinwil and Munich," admits BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen. "We are battling it out for podium finishes with the strongest teams on the Formula One grid and we want to defend out third position in the Constructors' Championship until the season is over."
