Raikkonen crashes hard
Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen caused a red flag situation during the third free practice session today as he crashed into the tyre barriers at 'Curva del Vialone'. The Finn managed to get out of the car by himself and appeared to be unhurt. The F2007 of the 'Iceman' is heavily damaged and Raikkonen will have to use the T-car during the qualifying session.
If Ferrari is unable to fit the engine and gearbox in the T-car before the qualifying session, Raikkonen will face a ten place grid penalty. This would be a major setback for the team in front of their home crowd.
