Fisico has to wait for decision on F1 future
Renault driver, Giancarlo Fisichella, has to wait a little longer to find out if he still has a future in Formula One. Fisico's manager, Enrico Zanarini, declared to 'Gazzetta dello Sport' that the driver market is still waiting for the decision of Fernando Alonso to leave McLaren or not.
Zanari said: "It's very confusing at the moment, everyone is waiting to see where Alonso ends up. Until then we'll just have to wait.
"We've long held talks, but at the moment everyone just needs to wait and see whether Alonso leaves McLaren or not. At that point a complex mechanism of swaps will come into play. We don't know anything until he leaves. We'll then need to see what free seats will be available. At the moment we wait."
