All over the world, the F1 fans can prepare themselfs for one of the most exciting final races of the season. It has been since 1986 that three drivers have gone into the final race still battling for the title.

In 1986, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell and Alain Prost battled for the Championship title in the final race of the season at Adelaide, Australia. Prost, who was set to become third in the Championship, was able to win the race after Championship leader, Nigel Mansell had a tyre failure and crashed out of the race. The Williams team called his teammate Piquet in to change tyres as a safety precaution, handing the race victory and Championship, to Prost.

At the moment, Lewis Hamilton is in the best position to win his first title. Hamilton is 4 points ahead of team mate and double World Champion Fernando Alonso. Kimi Raikkonen is third in the standings with 7 points less than Hamilton.
