Hamilton deserves to hold the crown - Ecclestone
According to Formula One supremo, Bernie Ecclestone, Lewis Hamilton deserves the Championship title more than Fernando Alonso or Kimi Raikkonen. Hamilton is leading the standings by 4 points with only one race left to go, the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Bernie Ecclestone declared in the Brazilian paddock: "Whoever is champion is a champion because that is what they are. But I think Hamilton deserves to perhaps hold the crown.
"He has done a superb job, and a great job worldwide for the sport's popularity. People seem to concentrate on the UK but it is worldwide."
