Brawn to be confirmed as Honda's team principal?

According to the British newspaper 'The Telegraph', Honda will unveil the former Ferrari technical director, Ross Brawn, as team principal of their Formula One team today. The spectacular coup will see Nick Fry, who nominally held the role, continue in the post of chief executive.

The move will have to ease the concerns of Briton Jenson Button, who claimed he would be considering his options next season unless Honda improved. Honda had a dramatic 2007 F1 season as they only finished 8th in the standings. The team will have to do something to make its way back to the top in Formula 1 and a new technical director such as Ross Brawn could help the team move forward again.
