McLaren focus on long runs with MP4-23

The final day of this week’s test saw Lewis and Heikki continue the programme of Bridgestone tyre evaluation and reliability confirmation and aerodynamic and set up development work. The team also focused on longer runs with the MP4-23 package, with fewer red flag stoppages at the Spanish circuit. Just over an hour before the end of the session, it began to rain. The conditions remained damp for the remainder of the day.
