Ecclestone plays down racial abuse as 'isolated incident'
Formula One supremo, Bernie Ecclestone, has played down the racial abuse during the test session at Barcelona. In an interview with 'BBC', Ecclestone said that the abuse in Spain should be seen as "an isolated incident" and that the anti-racism campaign, launched by the FIA, was "not necessary".
Bernie Ecclestone said about the incident: "I don't think they're fans, and I don't think they were supporting Alonso in particular. They just like to abuse people.
"This is just an isolated incident."
