Toro Rosso team on the market
Dietrich Mateschitz has revealed in 'Motorsport Aktuell' that the Scuderia Toro Rosso is for sale. Energy drink company Red Bull wants to enter the 2010 season with only one team: the Red Bull Racing Team.
Mateschitz said: "It is no big secret that the Toro Rosso team is on the market."
The 2010 regulations will make it illegal to use a customer chassis. "Therefore, I see the need for us to have only one team. We will not sell Toro Rosso during 2008, but before 2010," Mateschitz explained.
According to 'Motorsport Aktuell' the possible sale price will be €80 million.
