McLaren to modify speed limiter system
McLaren has decided to modify their car's pitlane speed limiter system. On Sunday, Heikki Kovalainen accidentally activated the system and lost fourth place to Fernando Alonso, who he just had passed.
In an interview with our colleagues of 'autosport.com', McLaren's engineering director Paddy Lowe said: "We'll certainly look at changing it for the future. It shouldn't be something you can pick up by accident when you're moving your hands around."
