I prefer to keep my feet on the ground - Kubica

Two podium places in a row, and impressive performances in Australia and Malaysia are a welcome reward for the hard work put in during the winter. However, there is no way Robert Kubica is going to ease off now.

19 points from two races: the BMW Sauber F1 Team has never started a Formula One season this successfully. However, rather than rest on his laurels, Kubica is aiming to keep his concentration and bring home the team's next success at the Bahrain Grand Prix next Sunday. "I prefer to keep my feet on the ground," says the Pole. "It is still too early to say that we have achieved the targets set for this season. Let's not forget that in order to win races, we must not just close the gap, but need to be quicker than the others."

The team in Munich and Hinwil are working day and night to achieve this goal. Robert sees the excellent performance of the engineers as the most important reason for the success so far this year: "It's mainly because of the very quick reaction time in Hinwil and Munich whenever we faced troubles." This has allowed the BMW Sauber F1 Team to make huge progress with the BMW Sauber F1.08 compared to the winter tests.
