Mediums will be fine. Pirelli is usually off the mark.

M-H-M or M-H will probably be the order of the day without Safety cars.
Yet somehow Red Bull saw value in keeping 2 sets of hard, although they are the best on tire wear. Makes me wonder.
Did they 'keep them'? or did they think they would gain nothing of value by running them, but as a fit all solution if the race goes as unplanned, or as they have used all the available soft ?

When on track they have to use something of course, but choosing the most value

I just checked who was the last rider to take the lead from 2nd in Montreal, as I couldn't remember any... and that took a while, as it actually was Damon Hill in 1993.

Vettel went from 3rd to 1st once, though, and Fisichella from 4th on a wet track.

Can Max please step aside and give us a Fernando vs Lewis duel for the win like it’s 2007 all over again? 😂😂

Curious to see if the Mercedes will be able to overcome the Aston Martin like in Spain! This will give us a clearer picture at both teams’ upgrades and their respective gains in performance!

Max of course will be gone by turn 1! Checo, Sainz and Charles though will be exciting to watch since this track promotes overtaking as seen over the years!

Or maybe a 2008 so Alonso can get his win finally

Marko just said that they are confident to have sorted out the issues from Friday, eventhough they weren't able to drive again in the dry. He still expects a difficult race for Perez though, likely to get stuck in a DRS train. Anything between 5th and 7th would be a very good result for him.

Dry 😎thank god
More like unfortunately. I was hoping for an amusing race with lots of wet/dry tire changes.
Myself and 150000 other people who were thoroughly soaked the last 2 days respectfully disagree
Sure, but some 100s of millions who watched before TV might be on a different opinion. :)

Anyway, by the looks of it, your wish was granted.

There was no duel in 2007 Montreal, just a rookie wiping the floor with the rest of the field and especially his teammate

According to Sky Italy, Leclerc has a bit of floor damage from the recon laps. Repaired but maybe will affect him

Hulk really showing his quality in qualifying. Would love to see him in a proper car. RedBull should give him a shot.
You probably know that Perez and Hulkenberg were both on the table when Albon was going out. Supposedly they chose Perez because he proved to not crack under pressure when in a winning position. But I rate Hulk higher indeed, but somehow he bodges it when driving at the front of the pack.
They were teammates in FI, it was 2-1 for Perez but more importantly when it mattered it was Perez to bring big results.

motorsport.com: " 13:38 Leclerc hasn't had the best of luck recently and it appears it isn't getting any better, as on the grid his car is up on the jacks and the floor plank is being worked on. 13:40 It doesn't look too serious as Leclerc's car is lowered back down and things calm down between the Ferrari mechanics. "

Ripe for speculation.

In that photo above you can see the skid block insert.

I have to remind you guys that the C3 tyre is the hard one here, which was the soft tyre in Spain. Yeah, I know that here is a rear limited track but what is more important is the fact that track temps are cooler/similar with the last race. So all the probabilities says it`ll be a 1 stop M-H stop (for those who think there's a SC phase) and a 2-stop S-M-S for those who are thinking they need an agresive race and something to offset the driver ahead, which is what that Merc drivers would need to do doing a split strategy in my view...

Wonder how plank wear between quali and the race is taken int account there.
