Denny died on 4 October 1992 of a heart attack whilst driving a BMW M3 during the Bathurst 1000.

Nico Rosberg is the son of 1982 F1 champion Keke Rosberg and was born in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The younger brother of Michael Schumacher was born in Hürth-Hermülheim.
He is an F1 driver since 1997 when he joined B&H Jordan.

Daniel Ricciardo is an Australian racecar driver, the 2009 champion of the British Formula Three Championship.
He entered F1 as the test and reserve driver of Toro Rosso, before driving 3 years for them. He then went on to Red Bull Racing to race alongside Sebastian Vettel.

Sebastian Vettel was born on July 3, 1987 in Heppenheim, Germany. He made his debut as third driver for the BMW Sauber F1 Team during the 2006 Turkish GP. Vettel is the youngest F1 driver ever to drive at a GP meeting at 19 years and 53 days.

Sakon Yamamoto was born on July 9, 1982 in Toyohashi, Japan. He made his F1 debut for the Super Aguri F1 Team during the 2006 German Grand Prix after having driven a few tests with the team on the friday of the raceweekends.

German Rolf Stommelen participated in 63 Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, achieving one podium and 14 championship points. He also participated in several non-Championship Formula One races.
Rolf was killed in a vicious crash during an IMSA Camel GT event at Riverside International Raceway on April 24, 1983 after the rear wing of his Porsche 935 broke.
