Alan Jones MBE is an Australian former Formula One racer. He was the first driver to win a Formula 1 championship with the Williams team. He did so in 1980 with the Williams FW07B.

Jacques-Henri Laffite is a French former racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1974 to 1986. He competed in 176 GPs, scoring 6 victories, 7 pole positions, 6 fastest laps and 228 total points.

OptimumG’s Advanced Workshop will span two weeks and provide an in-depth analysis of vehicle dynamics is a small classroom setting. Held at OptimumG headquarters in Denver, Colorado, the two-week workshop will be split into two parts – Monday, November 29 through Saturday, December 4 and Monday, December 6 through Saturday, December 11. In order to accommodate schedules, the two parts will be offered separately, but those wishing to attend Week Two will have had to attend Week One.

Last held in 2005, Advanced Workshop participants have reported an increase in the quality of communication among the various departments in their organizations, as well as new perspectives on already applied principles in automotive design, simulation and testing.

Robert Kubica was born on December 7, 1984 in Krakow, Poland. Kubica became third driver for the BMW Sauber F1 Team in 2006. The Pole took over from Jacques Villeneuve during the Hungarian GP. Robert Kubica is the first Polish race driver in the history of F1.

Neel Jani was born on December 8, 1983 in Switzerland. Jani made his F1 debut as third driver for the Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 Team in 2006.

Emerson Fittipaldi was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He is a highly successful racing driver, winning 2 World Championships in Formula One (1972, 1974). He also won a championship in CART and twice the Indianapolis 500. In F1 he raced for Lotus, McLaren and Fittipaldi Automotive (Copersucar), good for 14 wins, 6 poles and 6 fastest laps.

Jacques Bernard "Jacky" Ickx is a Belgian former racing driver who achieved 25 podium finishes in Formula One and six wins in the 24 hours of Le Mans. He was born in Brussels.

Michael Schumacher is the most succesful F1 driver in the history of Grand Prix racing. He was born in Hürth-Hermuelheim, Germany. He entered F1 in 1991 as a replacement of Betrand Gachot in a Jordan but was snatched away by Flavio Briatore to drive for Benetton.

Schumacher quickly displayed potential with 8 podium places in 1992 and his first win at the Belgian GP in Spa Francorchamps. He became world champion with Benetton in 1994 and 1995 before moving to Ferrari. His first of a string of 5 world titles came in 2000. He was unbeatable for 5 years thanks to an astonishing Ferrari every year and sometimes blatant team orders.

The German raced two more years in F1 only to see Fernando Alonso take both championships before leaving racing and taking up the role of Jean Todt's assistant at Ferrari.
