Yeah, Checo can't catch a break. Can't lie though, the fact that Horner and Marko think McLaren will be a problem in the WCC makes me very happy
I posted yesterday in the race that Mclaren have gained 104 points in the last 3 races to RBs 74, we are the strongest constructor right now.
We aren't chasing them at all since the Singapore update, they are chasing our points, even if it doesn't win us a crown this year or next.
Edit: Because some people will read too much as per usual, I'm not suggesting that this will continue next year, but RB have to view this as a direct threat and a possibility that with 2 good drivers and 1 good car we may be able to accrue more points than 1 great driver with a great car.
I think it is fair to say that this could be Checo's last season with RB as a result of Mclarens progress.
