Nobody "has the right" to the corner as long as cars are significantly alongside each other. Every driver is obliged to leave enough space for the other car. The FIA has set the stand for this kind of squeezing being legal starting in Imola (Max leaving no space to Lewis). Every other incident with Max and Lewis has been the same, with Max leaving zero space even tgough Lewis is always alongside. Now FIA has to continue with that charade.
If this incident were the other way round, 100% Hamilton (or any other driver for that matter) goes over the curbs to avoid a collision.
As proven on lap 1
GoLandoGo
Lewis v2.0
King George has arrived.

Maybe not. Impossible assertion to make
In this race, every other driver has basically done so in similar situations.
Not in the same boat as the top two scrapping it out for the championship where every single point counts

Vest must be penalized.

He almost killed HAM.
Agreed. That was a torpedo with the rear wheel dipping into the Halo on Lewis's head.
We just need to thank god that the rear wheel wasn’t spinning like it’s twin on the other side.

Bit like Hamilton on Verstappen on Silverstone? ;) I’m sure the rules will take care of this

This is like watching Monte Carlo. If Bottas wasn't last, we wouldn't see any overtaking.

Bottas from last to third, and one two for McLaren! Who would have predicted that.

That doesn't make it alright,though.
Also Lap 1- Hamilton going over the curbs rather than colliding in basically the reverse situation.

You know Hamilton is going to use that footage to make that point.

I do agree actually. Given the tiny wings on all the cars, it was very difficult to overtake unless you had a huge pace advantage! Let's hope it's something else the new cars can help improve.
