completely agree
exactly this
Ricciardo just talked about this, and guess what, he thinks it's a racing incident, sausage's curb fault.
Some other people also checked it, and guess what, Three-place grid penalty for Verstappen for the Russian GP for causing a collision with Hamilton

We dream.of senna prost battles and now that we get it we change mind? Is very closed battle and hard racing. For once, what else you desidere?
Fair and polite racing? :)

Would the drivers still race like this if they also owned, built and prepared the race cars themselves, in the style of Sir Jack Brabham or Bruce McLaren? :)

Can someone with the knowhow check if they are able to change engine then? I never knew something like this existed as tbh it sounds like a silly rule.

Wonder if 3 place penalty is enough to go for new engine on Russia or not?

And all that was similarly brought up at the Silverstone event...
you mean when LH asked about him, and didnt say "That is what you get"..
No, he said "In terms of the move, I would do it exactly the way... I did it last [time]." which boils down to the same thing, knowing the crash outcome.

But I have no intention to argue what exactly was and was not said. What is clear, is that Hamilton fans now call for the same things for which they lamented Verstappen fans last time. As one would expect, when fans argue.
Amen.

Anyway. Stewards decided the penalty. I think on the balance of how they went through that chicane it’s about right.

Lewis is not hurt luckily and Maccas are having a mega day which we as F1 fans should celebrate.

3 PLACE PENALTY. 2 PENALTY POINTS
Fully deserved. Bravo stewards for making up for the joke that was the silverstone penalty.

The fact people here genuinely buy this ''Verstappen did it deliberately'' nonsense Hill and Herbert were paddling tells you all you need to know about the loyalties here.

I really like this paragraph from the stewards' document:

''But further, the
Stewards observed that Car 33 was not at all alongside Car 44 until significantly into
the entry into Turn 1. In the opinion of the Stewards, this manoeuvre was attempted
too late for the driver of Car 33 to have “the right to racing room”''

They must've been watching a different race today, I guess.

No more arguments, whatever the point of view is, as the official decision is, "Max was predominantly at fault" and there is a penalty. Penalty accepted, Case closed. Onto the next one. 8)

They can, but that's back of the grid, which is much more than 3 places.

3 place grid penalty for Max. Lewis was lucky again, took out him in Silverstone and received meaningless penalty. Drivers receive harsher penalties when take out themselves than only opponent.

3 place grid penalty means they wont be taking the engine penalty now because P4 is much better than P20

If it was 5 more then he would definitely take it but its not.

Maybe they also watched turn 4 on lap 1 instead of pretend they were asleep during it?
