I think it's more the rear-car regulations suck. They really need to allow a bit more rear downforce (perhaps widen the rear wing slightly?).

The teams can adjust aero balance. If you have aero-dominant oversteer you do have the option of slimming down the front wing in which case (a) your balance is more reasonable (b) less drag and faster straight line speeds.

Teams can't adjust a crap tire design.

Rear aerodynamics was a key point of OWG. And seems they made it right!

I think the biggest loser of the race is Bridgestone.

Does anyone wish that with the return of slicks that the tyre war was restarted?

Massiv respect to Vettel & Kubica though...the 2 drivers who could take the fight to the BGP. When you compare them to their team mates there was such a huge gap!!

Barrichello saying now that "to those that think the diffusor is so important,on the first corner a mclaren pretty much destroyed mine (which led to my hitting another car) and the car still performed well". :D
He also said something about being in neutral at start and having to engage first gear real quick.
wake up, old man! It's green!

Vettel knew Kubica was going to go for position, and he knew (or should have known) there's no way in hell he could defend it till end of race. Absolutely no way. He could have been smart and backed off as Kubica was coming up on him into the corner, in which case he'd be on podium right now. Instead he stuck with it. Dumb dumb dumb. But yea, BK was also partially to blame.

So Vettel is supposed to race the car and read Kubica's mind at the same time, I know he is the "wonderboy" but gimme a break! It is allways the overtaking car's responsibility to pass safely and in this case it meant not driving Vettel off the track till he cant slow down and thus run into the side of you.

Kubica sideswiped him plain and simple.

Certainly apparent that the season will shape up to be interesting. Will have to see how car developments shape up.

Don't think I'd consider Honda's management idiots. Switch from Honda engines to McLaren is a big one for BrawnGP. Had Honda stuck around and powered the cars I don't think they would have been quite as quick, though still certainly better than they had been. Still a huge capital expenditure.

Not very impressed by Bridgestone's performance. On the one hand I'm sure FIA made a significant stipulation on the compounds to be brought.. and the difference was definitely there. But the balance from front to rear... that rear tire sucks.
First Bernie saying that drivers don't do enough to overtake, and now you say that the drivers don't do enough to let people pass.

I call it 50/50 to be honest. They were both in a bad position, and neither did the right thing, and paid for it with a DNF each.

Kubica and Vettel are dumbwits. Vettel should have yelded and Kubica should have given more space. A 50/50 on blame there.

Congrats to Brawn GP, as a few weeks ago there wasnt a team in place. Now a farytale exists, this is bigger than Vettels win with STR at Monza last year. Congrats to Ross Brawn, and ill say it, Nick Fry as well for saving the team. The guys in Tokyo must be feeling a little peeved off for not keeping the team on.

However, intresting that neither Ferarri finished with points, also i think that Massas retirement was KERS related. Pity Kazuki never went much futher, i did feel that he was fast today, id recon that he would have finished 8th or 9th. And Seb Buemi scoring points on his first race, that guy can race, he may be Webbers replacemet at RBR next year i feel, that is if he keeps consistancy and scors points regularly.

Driver of the day for me: Nico Rosberg

I'd rather have laughed if BrawnGP would have put a memorial on their rear wing...

Honda 2006-2008
RIP

Oh, and Trulli was even more impressive with his finish, so whats your point? Relying on the mistakes of others to gain places does not make one special.
