RED BULL WILL HAVE A NEW LIVERY THIS WEEKEND!!!

The twin Red Bull Racing RB16B cars of Max Verstappen and team-mate Sergio Perez will feature a predominantly white livery inspired by the legendary Honda RA 272 car, in which US racer Richie Ginther secured the company's maiden Formula 1 win at the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, at AlphaTauri, the rear wings of the AT02 cars driven by Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda will feature the one-word message ありがとう(arigato,) meaning "thank you".

Formu1a.uno is reporting that there was a process of removing excess layer of bitumen which could result more wear than last year. Also Pirelli is bringing softer tyres this year. Could be interesting if dry

I'm rather surprised they'll do this @ Turkey, i can't fathom what Turkey has to do with it except for that it might be planned ahead on Singapore, and Turkey replaces Singapore. However, there also should have been a Japanese GP so i would figure it had to be there instead.

It thus would make more sense to me to atleast wait for Mexico and put it there, as it's not unlikely they'll win there.

So, does this mean that this is going to be the final update from Honda for the car? Or perhaps will RB come with it's final update for Turkey, and from there on it's all about settings and already produced wings and the team fully focuses on 2022? And this is why it's saying 'origato' / thanks on the wing?

The pressure is really on now, Hamilton has already made mistakes this year so will be interesting to see how he performs in the run in. Max has been driving superbly, but its all new territory for him. Very exciting aspect of the title fight for me.

F1 medical car crew replaced after COVID positive tests

Formula 1 will have a replacement medical car crew at this weekend's Turkish Grand Prix after its regulars tested positive for coronavirus.

Medical car driver Alan van der Merwe and doctor Ian Roberts have worked together for many years, and most famously played a key role in helping Romain Grosjean escape from his fiery crash at last year's Bahrain Grand Prix.

But during pre-event testing before they travelled to Istanbul, it was revealed that both had been struck down with COVID-19.

A statement from the FIA confirmed that their diagnosis meant they could not take up their normal duties.

"[Both] tested positive for COVID-19 prior to travelling and are therefore self-isolating and will not attend the 2021 FIA Formula Turkish Grand Prix," said an FIA spokesman.

"They will be replaced at this event by FIA Formula E World Championship Safety Car Driver, Bruno Correia, and Medical Delegate, Dr Bruno Franceschini, respectively."

Should van der Merwe and Roberts recover quickly then they could be back in action for the following race in Austin later this month.

That’s too bad, basically they said it’s like a sprint race from 0 in the last races now. And Lewis basically laid out his case for max should win the championship. Max sez he don’t think about Mercedes taking an engine penalty or not
