Zow Stan! Super lap by "da Boss" Race should be a real cracker, or a boring procession
Also the battle between Alfa Tauri, and Alpine is really heating up!

I’m worried about gasly tyre, I don’t want any bs kerbs killing tyres and ruining the spectacle

It is crazy how it transformed from “they’re too quick” to a gap of 4.5 tenths in two weeks. It can’t be just an ICE change.
You realize the ICE change comes with a change in power mode too right? This engine is optimized for the last 4 races. it is obviously what is going on. It is running closer to party mode right now. Maybe Redbull and Honda should have done the same thing. Otherwise, it is likely check mate for Mercedes. Hamilton looks untouchable right now.

It is most likely just that. It's not just Brazil and Qatar even Mexico Ham was already 2 tenths faster than Verstappen on a "RedBull" track in Qualy. Couple that with new ICE and fresh motivation it's no wonder it has ballooned to nearly 5 tenths on track.

Fantastic effort from Verstappen, that car is not even Q3 worthy, one can say. Perez is a great driver but still couldn´t compete with Alpine, Toro Rosso(even Tsunoda), Sainz´s Ferrari and Mclaren.

If the cars a diva and being track specific it’s Absolutley possible…just the tires not being in the right window can cause a 2 sec difference…

Has Horner literally just changed his tune between the beginning and end of qualifying?

I’m confused, did they lift off cause or gasly?
Yeah they did. I think you have to take that .4 gap with a bit of a pinch of salt.
No way that can cost 4 tenths man I struggle to believe that. Verstappen was already down a 1 tenth in S1 on Ham and nearly matched his own middle sector from first lap. Let's just face it, it is not close.
By all means keep on with that narrative if it suits you.

Is Merc power advantage seen in Brazil gone ? Their straight line speed is a bit lower than the RB

I think it should be okay. It looked like it was more the way he attacked the kerb which caused his front wing to break.

Lewis just needs to pitch up tomorrow. W12 will produce the win.

Take Hornors word with pinch of salt

Merc are running higher downforce and still manage to have faster top speed.

Lewis pulled half a car length just into the first straight

But I´ll give you this, the F1 crowd(or a good portion of it) has a good chance of being the dumbest lot out there with their "Red Bull is quicker" irrational narrative, probably up there with the crowd which believes the Earth to be flat.
What a bizarre outburst.

So according to Horner, Lewis lap wrekd’ the RBS despite no straight line speed advantage? Just driving corners better? No rocket? That don’t make sense
