Most drivers feel unclear about the rules how is that Masi's job to tell them?. They have team briefings, driver's briefings where they talk about that. And for the fans who have absolutely no idea of the rules that is their fault, all the resources are there on the FIA website, yet the fans choose to do guesswork and construct their own realities regardless like "FIA is against Hamilton, FIA wants Verstappen to win" pure insanity.

I'm interested in not muddying the truth with narratives but to be honest I'd rather be on that side than yours. Look at the many ridiculous things you and your companions are posting, none of who include opinions based on any fact rather just conjecture. Call for penalties for everything because your favorite driver actually had some competition for the first time in 3 years.

I don’t have a favourite driver who is actively racing, but I do have LEAST favourites, and Massi is one of the least in the whole paddock for me

I never called for no penalty. I agreed with someone if the rules are broken, then something should happen. It’s your inner advocacy for YOUR favourite driver, being triggered you should be getting paid for putting in this much work.

Thanks for the compliment. Also, It's being waved dude, did you watch the session on some illegal stream or something?. It's so clear on the onboard plus there is a track hazard right there and even Alonso ahead of him still slowed down.

Top left, yellow LED on the steering wheel, right ? Open and shut case. What is the usual penalty for this ?

Yes I am wondering if the LEDS are the yellows or gear change, or if the Yellow would come up in the LCD display below?
Even if we ignore the steering wheel lights, The steward's flag should take precedent over any other system as he is on the track and has the best view of the situation.

Agree 100% it's not. Just that if it is rarely discussed in the media then it will be even less so around the paddock.

The brazil wing touching controversy was a very unique incident of social media influence. Otherwise, the teams can elevate the incident to the race director and from the race director onto the stewards, it's kinda like they snitch on each other, they also see each other's onboard and hear each other's radio comms. They should just snitch and see what happens.

No it comes up after few seconds after the DRS board, so it cannot be DRS light. If it was it should come immediately

Issue is. In the max video, the board on the right side of the track is green. If Merc do pursue it, RB could have a defence saying that the Marshall did one thing and the trackside boards another? Or does one have precedent over the other?

I can't tell which side of the fencing the lightboard is on, but could it be possible that 'green light' is actually on the other side of the fencing and is meant for cars in the pitlane?

These are indeed in the pitlane indicating whether you have to stop on the weighbridge or not

Just watch it again you will see it. The flag is taken out and waved. Then a double yellow is waved soon afterwards. Mind you a yellow flag is when the flag is taken out and is visible on track to the driver, not just when it is waved lol. If the flag is visible then slow down. It's for this reason why marshalls wear overalls/cloths that do not coincide with the flag colors, like orange or grey. This way when they take out the flag it is clear what is happening.

Yes penalize them both. No problem for me, would make the race 100 times more interesting as we'd be watching cars battling there in Gasly and Alsonso and Norris rather than watching someone lapping on his own out front. IT's why the Mexico race was boring and the COTA race wasn't, actual battles shown on the broadcast.

You can go watch the onboard yourself, it's there in HD. Perhaps record it and slow it down as per your discretion.

I was about to write the following before having dinner ... anyways:

The part in the race director's notes says that all times done under double waved yellows will get deleted, the times weren't deleted = there were no double yellows (intended) ... which means that the marshal decided to wave them simply because he saw the slow car and they might have the power to do so.

At the same time it weird because it kinda sets the precedent, that drivers can ignore double waved yellows if there's no other signs of them, like the dash or a radio call from the pits.
It's a bit like blasting through red lights and a cop standing right next to them saying "nah it's fine, lights shouldn't have been red" ... you've done the crime but it was ok to do so.
