Thats what i am reading, i mean what else factor can RB argue? a shooting star came at that particular time that blinded max? this really a slam dunk is there anything RB can argue?

Last week was a slam dunk for Max and we know what happened, so don’t count your chickens yet.

Bottas and Sainz cleared as it was harsh as no flags were being visibly waved.
Max gets 1 place penalty as he had 2 clear yellow flags being waved.
Max now starts on the clean side behind the mercs like in Mexico.
Max takes the lead at the start as both Merc drivers leave a cars width as you should. Max holds on for the win as overtaking is very hard here.
After the race Horner claims the stewards had to do this and make an example of poor Max. Max won the race the hard way despite the stewards being against him and the team.

He should do yeah, but we know that he has escaped punishment recently for breaking the rules, so its not as straightforward as 'Max will get 5 places'

It’s hard to see how the penalty can be massaged down or dropped for all three drivers given the evidence of all three passing waving flags, but TBH nothing surprises me with this sport.

However, if they don’t apply the standard penalty then that tells all the drivers ‘don’t bother slowing down for yellow flags any more if you’re on an important lap.’ which is an even worse precedent than they set last week.

If it is 3 places and none for Bottas, it's not all too bad. Both Max and Gasly will now have the clean side of the grid. As long as Max gets a decent start, he should be up to around P3 early
