Ok, the FIA needs to do something or we are going to have a horrendous accident!

Two major problems with this track, pit lane exit goes directly to the racing line, and overtaking of the slow cars in twisty but fast sector 3 is insanely dangerous.

Has anyone got an idea of how accurate this AWS predicted gap graphic has been over the course of the season?

How does the transverse "wobbling" affect rear tires? Can that have any significant impact on wear?

Can be fairly haphazard. Just wait for Barretto's article on formula1.com later tonight or tomorrow morning. That is always a best indicator of things to come, as he also analyses the medium speed corners, high speed corners and straight-line delta.

Oooof! Thank GOD he walked away from that. Goes to show those tires aren't going to last a significant amount of time on heavy fuel. I'm seeing about 15-16 laps tops for the mediums. Those softs are going to just about make it 10 laps.

They can only predict based on what they see. From what we've been shown this is what the data suggests. It is an approximation, it is not reality.

Im not sure how much it's already been discussed but depending on how close certain cars in the midfield are to each other, I could see a mid to late race SC drastically affecting positions. As I'm writing this, Lec just had a huge smash into the wall and I could see really lengthy red flag period to repair barriers followed by a mid race restart and the associated shenanigans. Im just hoping this track isn't as dangerous as im fearing.

Andrew Benson on the BBC has just said Max's race pace doesn't look good, although maybe something is going on that makes his time's unrepresentative.

There was radio chat from Max where the team told him he needed to switch his attention to race pace or it would suffer, but he said he wanted to stick with quali testing. Understandably
