However many FOM felt like asking for probably! They could probably line the circuit with diamonds and not notice the expense!

It's just a shame. One of the best title fights in decades and the three last races happen in barely watchable circuits, all because of oil money.
And then they wonder why nobody watches F1 anymore.

It really is. When you think of some of the classic tracks the sport doesn’t visit any more to make room for them. Abu Dhabi paid an obscene amount to take the last race of the season off Brazil’s hands, if I recall correctly.
