Quick prediction, all finishers will score points, this starting to look like a demolition derby at Adrian Flux Arena on a Sunday afternoon!!

Did anyone see Max’s tyres before they changed them in pitlane?

They looked pretty chunked on the inner shoulder after only 16 laps. Was I seeing things or did anyone else catch it?
I saw it, thought it was more likely pick up but didn't look closely.

yes, they didn't look good, but keep in mind he was sitting 1.2-1.4sec behind Bottas for all that time with car full of fuel, so that doesn't apply to his current situation

what amazes me is the pace of these 2, they pull away for 1+sec/lap over the rest

Are we stuck with this circuit for ten years? I really hope they make some alterations to it for the future.
No, a proper circuit in a couple of years

I dont see how verstappen can hold hamilton for another half race. Hamilton is brazil like faster on any straight so if he gets drs once or twice its done.

Hamilton is having to push Max in the hope that Max's tyres won't take it for the rest of the race.

Max is quicker in the twisties, Lewis quicker on the straights. Max is able to get out of DRS range each time. It'll take a mistake by him for Lewis to get close enough in the twisties.

I think it’s more about the tyres TBF.

Hamilton is the boss in sector 2 and 3. Lap 40 will be good.

Yes. But the way things are going, a few more VSCs will help Max with that.

What is Masi ‘offering’ Red bull things for? Very weird. If I were them I’d just say no and leave it to the stewards just on the off chance they side with you.
That’s the weirdest thing in all of this situation… Why make “offers”, either you apply penalties (grid positions, time, etc) or not… But you don’t bargain with the teams about it
If it hadn't been for the red flag, the teams would have been told to tell their driver to give the place back on track. But the red flag meant they didn't have the option to do that. So it would have to go to the stewards for their determination. So Masi gave them the option to do what they would normally have done.

At least, that's how I see it.
That makes sense, but still… I don’t understand the whole “offer” thing… If Max had to give the position back, he should have done so without having to bargain with the team

all those safety cars play well for Maxes chances, tires have chance to cool off a bit, their quali setup may have been towards quick heat up, which turns into an overheating situation during the race

edit: did Seb even try to make that chicane or put Kimi into runoff/wall?

So much debris on track, there will be punctures...
