Yes amazing Honda engine but 'the very last moment' is the race ending flag tomorrow.
Is that right?? So only if I can confirm it with a link is it true? A bit short-sighted, don't you think?!west52keep64 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 15:29I'm sorry, but you can't claim to be 100% correct on this unless you can provide something to backup this claim.
So this is where you go wrong. Where did I write that there was some of the PU in those cargo boxes? You make up/conclude that yourself. The reason I ask is my understanding was manufacturers are not allowed to bring performance updates to the engines this year, they are only allowed to make changes for reliability reasons. Therefore, I was interested to understand how they could ship an engine update in those cargo boxes and use it without taking a penalty.
Dont count too much un perez in the race, those two play on different level. Perez can only try to disturb lewis after pit, maybe. I Presume lewis will pass him in a secondmax_speed wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 16:39Wow just Wow, redbull pulled a trick when we all thought game over. I am sure they have made plan for race day as well. Once you plan to rob a bank you do plan your exit after getting hands on $$. Perez is in a strong position to hold lewis. First phase hunt him, overtake and let max build the gap then pit early and stay on hard and within lewis pit window. Tyre whisperer perez will be very important tomm. Hope red bull can execute till end. Its not over until its over.
Good point, I had same option in mind. Anyway is good start point, even that for the race will be very difficoult to win, given pace rate that hamilton will have once on white tires, I presume. The big question is the redbull plan: tryng to make one stop with red tires making them last 14 laps? Or they plan 2 pitstops, one more of mercedes, driving fast and furious all the race without tire and fuel consumpion care? Could be reds, white yellow, or reds, yellow, reds again? What a hearth braking race will be
So which part was it? Also, if you've since had time find a link to the interview, posting it would be much appreciated. You did say you could easily find it, and posting it would surely put this all to bed.Wouter wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 17:57So this is where you go wrong. It said that a car's setup had to be optimal for the PU to show its true potential. For this you need the right parts on the car.
A very important part was in one of those boxes.
I want to leave it at this. I've put too much unnecessary time into this already.

I'd love to give you a link, but it's a lot of work to go back and read all these interviews, to see where he [Asaki] said what.
Still I don't know pace of both but hope Redbull can do what they did in francePany wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 18:08Good point, I had same option in mind. Hm I don't think they did. No idea why they ran the Softs on friday, but regarding the other two points, Horner said they were concerned about track evolution with Max. And Sergio.. he didn't have the pace. He was 9th or 10th on the mediums and they had to put him on softs to secure a place in Q3.
Dunno where you found that wisdom, but in my world the time it's exactly the same ..
