Jenson Button has won the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang in mixed weather conditions. The race was stopped after only 33 of the planned 56 laps. Nick Heidfeld came in second, ahead of Timo Glock who completes the podium. Because less than 75% of the race was completed, only half of the points will be awarded for this race.

the conditions in Malaysia are too extreme.
Vettel showing rookie behavior near the end, should have took his time, he was doing well up to a point.
Webber and hamilton showing the most maturity on the track, i liked how they considered finishing over self destruction.
How did he show rookie behaviour toward the end?
"It could be done manually. It would take quite a while, but it could be done. There is however a much more efficient and accurate way of getting the data. Men with lasers." Wing Commander Andy Green

what about the Webber-Hamilton, it was one of the best battles in years !!!
It was more of a rain dance than battle.
They were just trying to keep at a certain pace without any close calls, almost as if they were reading each others minds
Webber put in some nice passes at the final turn though.

Inexperience is a better word; he should have slowed instead of trying to step on it.Maybe a little over confident in his rain skills. The car over steered as if he got on the throttle too early. He was pretty much ok in that little slide until then.
I was hoping he could drive away too, i guess the car stalled.

well, no basically, it shouldn't
the conditions in malaysia are extreme yes, but this has never happened before because the race has always started earlier, they really didn't need to start it at 5, could've been done at 3 or 4pm and it wouldn't have been that bad for everyone to watch

...you can say "he's got monster cojones" trying to test the limits of traction like that. unfortunately, his cojones had his car's contact patch area outsized.
at least his cojones were cooler than expected...dry ice plus torrential rain will do that nicely!

"Fortunately I've got a bag with dry ice in [my suit], which I put next to my balls, so at least they stay nice and cool!"- Sebastian Vettel, 2009 Malaysian GP Friday Practice.
the results are taken from the lap *before* the last fully completed lap *before* the SC is deployed. So they stopped on lap 33, the last full lap was 32, therefore the classification was taken from lap 31.
I'd also like to add +1 to the hails of the great, clean, racing battle Webber and Hamilton had on track.. Great display of racing skill from both drivers.
