Nice video from RBR about Max for Max.

Max: "In the future of course I hope to be, to become a world champion. Because that is also a dream." ...... Now he is.

The Power of Dreams!

The right man won. People saying it was won on luck need look no further than Hungary. Finally luck has balanced itself out when it needed to and now hamilton has gotten that sour taste when things go against you. Entire team personnel leaving the track without giving any interviews goes to show how sore losers mercedes team as a whole really are, and have always been. Protests were frankly pathetic behaviour.

As for the appeal, even if mercedes decide to go trough with it, I dont expect anything will come of it in the end. Max can sleep peacefully.

Hamilton congratulated Max personally and in interview. And he tried to take part in the podium celebrations by spraying his fake bubbly stuff towards Max too. He behaved perfectly well. At least he didn't sulk off the podium without joining in as someone else did at the previous race.

Anyway, Max won the title and well done to him. =D>

The result stands, and Max is the WDC. I think people commenting on who left the track when, and who did what interview etc. are just sore and will need some time to heal. It what it is, you have to understand the drivers are just instructed to do what their teams tell them to do.

I am still interested to understand the technical reason for Perez's DNF. Regardless though, it's good to see he's been fully broken in as the number 2 driver. We can expect a good 1-2 campaign from Red Bull next season, with none of the nonsense that Webber and Ricciardo brought to the team.

Ok Mercedes won the constructor championship in which is the most important. Max won the drivers. I assume that Red Bull only had this year as a chance. Next year a lot can happen.

Ok I will give Hamilton that, he behaved astonishingly well given the circumstances. Can't say the same for the rest of his team. Still, wandering off into the night after podium ceremony screams of sour grapes, especially after a title decider like the one we've just witnessed. I'm fairly certain this violates a bunch of agreements FOM (or fia) has with all the teams, but at this point they're probably thinking who cares.

Any news about Perez retirement? Looks like they were afraid his car would break on track, provoke another SC.

I think in a way, it doesn't matter. Perez is now fully broken in. He's 100% the no. 2 driver, like Barrichello. He will do what the team tell him to do, even if that means sacrifice his WDC for Max, he will do it. Red Bull are mighty because of this, they are like the Ferrari of old. We are witnessing the best driver lineup since Schumacher and Barrichello.

Congrats to RedBull and Verstappen. Good and strong season with a very lucky ending.

So, who’s going to Brawn next year 😂

So... Attention turns to 2022.

In recent years, Red Bull have not been all that good with wind tunnel correlation out-of-the-box and have needed track data to fine tune their designs (save for the carryover '21 car). Will 2022 buck the trend on that front?

Red Bull / HRC will bring an updated engine for increased biofuel, so we'll see how that goes. Ferrari and Renault are both bringing brand new power units IIRC, so they could close the step to the Red Bull and Mercedes HPP potentially.

Also, have Red Bull allocated more-than-typical resources to the 2021 car compared to some of the other teams? Will that put RBR on the backfoot to start with, with a slightly less developed '22 car, or will the clever engineers at RBR be able to produce a great concept that performs well even without "brute forcing" their way to a high level of design refinement?

Congratulations to Max for winning the championship! The ending could have been better, but the championship is won throughout the season and Max is deserving because of that. Hoping 2022 would be close too!
