Being a works team can be advantageous but brand new power units in F1 - as we know only too well with Hondas early hybrid days- can be a risk.

With the change in aero regulations for 2022, does that bring customer teams back into play do we think?

Just watched the German seidl interview.

Finally some wind tunnel updates.

Construction to complete by the end of 2022.

23 car to utilise it for upgrades. But won't be till 24 car till it fully utilises that wind tunnel.

New sim still a 'few' years away. Which is surprising given they said vefore the win would be completed before the new wind tunnel.

Production tools and cfd have been upgraded

That's the right Thread to use for now.

There is a car topic, but it's a technical one, not suited for presentation/livery talks. We also need new topics, eg. for AM, departure of Otmar Szafnauer is a 22' thing. New partnerships for Ferrari or RB also should be commented in 22' threads (should they, Mods? )

Livery was always a Topic for the Team Threads. No need for a seperate Topic.

As for the Szafnauer: His departure is right at home in the AM Topic, his future in his new Teams Topic.
