One more sun set
I hope thatβs what we see- a predominant blue and just some tasteful pink additions, as opposed to the horrific Racing Point cars we saw in recent yearsRedNEO wrote: β19 Feb 2022, 22:58One more sun set

I always liked the Castrol livery. But that fake shot uses a nastier shade of green bordering directly with pink.AtlasZX wrote: β19 Feb 2022, 22:28https://estaticos-cdn.sport.es/clip/d41 ... ault_0.jpgPandamasque wrote: β19 Feb 2022, 19:01The car in the "leak" is an early FOM model, I think. And gosh, I thought mixing pink with the French tricolour was challenging, but whoever did it also found it necessary to add bright green!
Castrol become a kinda of a title sponsor since Jeddah
Given how flowing the new car's bodywork is I don't think the previous sharp angled livery approach will work at all; it only looked good because it aligned with the angle of the rear-wing endplate edges and many other harsh straight lines on the old car. The new far more curvaceous shapes lack the diagonal angles for the livery to align with and call for something flowing roughly parallel to the long axis of the car akin to the lines on Merc, AMR, Red Bull, McLaren, Haas so far. It's not a coincidence all of these teams have chosen this artistic approach that follows and compliments contours on the car - that is simply good livery design.Pandamasque wrote: β20 Feb 2022, 01:08I always liked the Castrol livery. If I had to do the 2022 BWT livery I'd give that Castrol rear end part to BWT colours, then make everything ahead of that diagonal line blue, with small tricolour stripes running from the nose tip to the driver headrest. So at a glance the car is just blue/pink and not too busy looking.
Seems not to look like the others. Pushrod
Ferrari style sidepid?
Where is this from?
Getting pretty tired of all these trolls...Sigh, one more day.Blackout wrote: β20 Feb 2022, 14:23viewtopic.php?p=1034107#p1034107

Can you at least mention where you saw those rumors...
I'm sure the Castrol thing was a one off and will be a just small logo, likely on the rear endplate.organic wrote: β20 Feb 2022, 02:47Given how flowing the new car's bodywork is I don't think the previous sharp angled livery approach will work at all; it only looked good because it aligned with the angle of the rear-wing endplate edges and many other harsh straight lines on the old car. I am almost certain they will ditch the diagonal line and the Castrol green will not feature dominantly at all imo as it clashes too much with their other colours
