The car thread is for technical things. Reporting "the car is bouncing" 10 times per session is not technical to be honestJust_a_fan wrote: ↑18 Mar 2022, 14:47The car is bouncing, the team isn't. This is the team thread. The car thread is over there.
The car is bouncing so it should be discussed in the car thread. I don't see what's so difficult to understand about that.organic wrote: ↑18 Mar 2022, 14:48The car thread is for technical things. The team thread is for anything to do with the team, of which the car is part of. So it does seem to be appropriate to talk about the car here should it not be technical?
Because the team chose to do it that way round.
Car threads have typically been for discussing hardware primarily, with performance relegated to the team thread. Gray area though.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑18 Mar 2022, 14:50The car is bouncing so it should be discussed in the car thread. I do agree about not needing to have several people just putting "car's bouncing" time after time.
I don't see Hamilton going to Ferrari. More likely he'll retire and go off and do some of the other stuff he enjoys so much.
That would never happen with Papa Stroll at Aston and there is no attractiveness for Toto to go there anyway. He owns a third of this manufacturer team and he is the principal, he has everything he wants at Mercedes.
Toto owns 33% of the Mercedes F1 team. Lewis is 37, has already indicated he doesn't see himself doing this when he's 40, has a contract through 2023 and Ferrari has two great young drivers.
